There is a huge array of different hotel accommodation in Perisher Valley ranging from low cost accommodation right through to your deluxe luxury suites. You have a choice to either stay at Perisher Blue, Smiggins Holes, Blue Cow or Charlottes Pass but if you would like to perhaps distance yourself from all the ongoing action of the slopes, because you are after something a little more quiet, you can check out the other hotel accommodation that can be found in the surrounding town of Jindabyne which is centrally located to all the ski slopes and with Skitube running every 20 minutes to all the slopes it is just too easy.

But if you do chose to stay in the heart of the Perisher Valley and are looking for quality hotel accommodation then you must take a look at either The Man from Snowy River Hotel, Smiggins Hotel, the Ski Rider Hotel or the Perisher Valley Hotel. All establishments offer excellent rooms with each place having that little extra something. At The Man from Snowy River Hotel you are only 20m from the Skitube and only 200m from the Village Eight Express Chairlift. If also has a fully supervised children's dining area, kids club, teenagers room and games room making this not only a perfect choice for families on holidays with kids but for groups and couples as well. You will also be able to make use of the gym, the two bars with open fires, guest lounge so while you kids are being completely looking after by the staff you can sit back with friends and enjoy and relaxing meal and drink with friends. But if you are looking to be in the heart of all the action then the Smiggins Hotel will best accommodate all of your needs starting with ski/board/boot lockup, ski-in and ski-out accommodation, a café and tea and coffee facilities for getting that little bit of extra energy for the next slope. Then after a hard day of skiing come and have a fantastic meal in the restaurant or a cocktail in the bar. Located in Wilson's Valley you will find the largest hotel in the Kosciusko National Park, called the Ski Rider Hotel. With everything at your fingertips from school holiday entertainment and games room for the kids, equipment hire for all your skiing and snowboarding needs, to a bistro and to relaxing bars to enjoy a drink in. You will definitely want to come back and enjoy the friendly service that is provided here. And then last but definitely not least is the deluxe accommodation on offer at the Perisher Valley Hotel. Within this establishment they offer all their guests a sauna, spa and massage parlour to wined down in and rest you tired bones after skiing the rough terrain, a cocktail bar to meet your new found friends in and enjoy a quiet drink, and not mention that all the rooms a decked out with modern facilities to make you stay even more memorable.

You can travel by air, bus or car to get to Perisher Valley or the surrounding areas. You will be able to catch a flight from any of the major capital cities in Australia and travel to Canberra Airport where you can catch a connecting flight to Cooma Airport where you will be able jump on a shuttle bus, called the Snowy Mountains Express Shuttle, which will in turn take you to your luxury accommodation destination. All bus services have routes that travel through the Snowy Mountain region so if you prefer to travel by coach and let someone else do all the driving for you jump onto any of the major services that are offered in Australia. Or if you want to take in all of the nature beauty along the way before you start your holiday in the snow then hire a car, if you don’t already have one, and travel through the mountains at your own pace. Perisher Blue is an easy 5 and a half to 6 hour drive from Sydney via Canberra and Cooma or a 6 and a half to 7 hour drive from Melbourne. Just make you way to Jindabyne and from here you are only 33km to either Smiggins, Guthega or Perisher. There will be fees for vehicles using the Kosciusko National Park and you can find entry stations on three of the mains roads entering the park.
